Scholarship Opportunities

​

  • Kenneth W. Hoefs Renewable Scholarship

    • Four $2000 Scholarships for applicants meeting the following criteria

      • 1.  Graduate from Hankinson High School with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 based on a 4.0 scale

      • 2.  Has plans to attend a university or college located in North Dakota at the time of application.  Be properly admitted to a university or college located in North Dakota at the time of disbursement of the scholarship

      • 3.  Scholarship recipients must be enrolled to carry the equivalent credit load of a full-time student and be pursuing an academic major

      • 4.  The Scholarship can be renewed for the subsequent three years (for a total of 4 years) provided that the student maintains at least a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and continues to meet criteria #2 and #3.

 

  • Hankinson Education Foundation Scholarships

    • Additional Hankinson Education Foundation Scholarships may be available even if you are going to college outside of North Dakota.

 

 

 

All the above scholarship recipients must graduate from Hankinson High School, enroll as a full-time student in an accredited institution of post-secondary education, and be a US citizen.

 

  • The Kenneth Hoefs Scholarship Fund at North Dakota State University

    • For qualified students who are majoring in engineering, and/or science and mathematics.

    • Preference is to be given to students who have graduated from Hankinson Public School District #8.

    • Please contact North Dakota State University to learn more about these scholarships.
